Event Details

Dreams ebb and flow like water—sometimes evaporating the instant we wake, other times pooling in our minds for days. (I Don’t Dream, I Float) is an audio-visual experience that explores the fluidity between dreams and water. Plunge into an immersive experience with a flowing soundscape, shifting visuals and fragmented memories.

Sydney Theatre Company’s Wharf 2 Theatre transforms into a watery dreamscape created by sound designer Alyx Dennison and multidisciplinary artist ADHOC. Audiences will recline in a comfortable setting and witness this transporting work come to life, inspired in part by Vivid Sydney’s ‘Dream’ theme and the theatre’s harbourside setting.

This experience invites you to drift into unseen currents, tracing the intimate tidal patterns that flow beneath waking consciousness.

Looking for more? Inside The Dream Factory: In Bed I See Things is an interactive installation at Sydney Theatre Company’s Wharf 4/5. Step into a theatre of dreams, where forgotten props hold echoes of past performances. Created by multi-disciplinary artist ADHOC, this surreal experience invites you to explore, interpret, and play. Bring a friend, date or family member for an enhanced experience—this interactive installation is made to be experienced with others.

This event is presented in partnership with Sydney Theatre Company.
