The brainchild of Brazilian born, Sydney-based live looping artist Fernando Aragones, Animal Ventura’s dynamic live set travels through a range of different rhythms and genres infused with strong yet smooth vocals flowing seamlessly from English to Portuguese.
With extensive experience in Sydney’s live music scene, as well as featuring at numerous festivals around Australia and supporting established Australian bands such as The Presets, Arts vs. Science and The Beautiful Girls, the live show promises a unique and captivating musical experience.
KOOL VIBRATION
Formed in Sydney’s inner west, Kool Vibration combines a mix of roots, reggae, soca and all round general island vibes. The addition of sega and seggae riddims of frontman Ras Jamino’s homeland of Mauritius, transports listeners to a different space, where life is carefree and relaxed and parties seem to never end. Audience's can’t help but catch their contagious riddims as they either sit back and relax or get down and boogie, forgetting about the daily grind.

Brock Ferrar's interest in house and techno started in the late 90's with the discovery of the Perlon label. With influences like Baby Ford, Thomas Melchior/Melchior Productions Ltd, Zip, Daniel Belll And that groove heavy style of house music.
Based in Melbourne after a stint in Japan, Brock continues to push forward thinking dance music across Australia and the globe, turning heads, punters and chin strokers alike.

Brad Lorge Managing Director of Premonition, and is an entrepreneur, computer scientist and advocate for socially driven business, and was announced as the “Hills Young Innovator of the Year” for 2015,
Brad founded Foodbank Local – a technology platform which utilises real-time constraints optimisation to improve logistics in the foodbanking sector.
Brad is currently working with his co-founders on Premonition, which combines a new approach to real-time optimisation of logistics fleets with predictive big data technology – a first for the logistics industry.
Premonition and Foodbank Local have been featured in Australian and International publications, including SBS World News, ABC Big Ideas, The Wall Street Journal (Print and Online), The Australian Financial Review, The Sydney Morning Herald and Gizmodo.
Personal Best Sound System ft Josh Beagley + Harold S
Josh Beagley is an Australian artist, producer, DJ and and remixer.
He is best known for his involvement with the acts Confection, SWOOP who released four albums in the '90s including the top 10 hit ‘Apple Eyes’, Professor Groove & The Booty Affair and Fatback 4Way.
DJs/remixes under various monikers including J Connection and Double Dutch DJs. He heads the label ‘Personal Best’ that has releases by Physique, Moody Beach, Cryme Wave, Tear Council and The Goods, who are flying high with their recent single ‘Make your move’
Harry Sutherland is one of Australia’s most promising young jazz pianists, having studied with a number of great pianists in both Australia and abroad including Kevin Hunt, John Harkins, Matt McMahon and John Taylor.
He has played with some of the most well-respected figures in Australian jazz including Geoff Bull, Paul Furniss, Dale Barlow, James Greening, Steve Elphick, Warwick Alder, Ben Hauptmann and Elana Stone. He has won the James Morrison Scholarship at the Generations in Jazz festival in Mount Gambier and has recorded for ABC Jazz digital radio and Jazztrack.

Floating Pyramids
Floating Pyramids aka Chris Hamer-Smith is a renowned beat producer from Sydney, Australia. Twice Aria nominated for his work with reggae/hip hop outfit Astronomy Class, Chris has also received critical acclaim and a strong following for his solo work as Chasm, producing and remixing a plethora of artists from 360 to The Bamboos, Urthboy, Thundamentals, Elizabeth Rose and Ash Grunwald.
Celebrated for producing hip hop anthems for favourite local rap artists and catchy melodic beats for dance floors across the globe, Chris hit international attention for his worldwide hit 'King of the Stars' under his house music alias Dr Don Don, and most recently his single 'Mr Bump' with Ministry of Sound artist Death Ray Shake. Through his house music production, Dr. Don Don has garnered valuable support from critically acclaimed artists A-Trak and Grammy, MTV and Brit award-winning artist Fatboy Slim.
Now in 2017, Chris is ready to hit the music-loving masses again with a new project and a new sound, Floating Pyramids. Utilising his detailed programming skills whilst also incorporating live instrumentation, Floating Pyramids is a melting pot of sounds, moving effortlessly from soulful, off kilter soundscapes to heavy club oriented jams.
DJ Diola
KRYSTEL DIOLA is a name that has been in the music industry over the last 10 years, emerging as a spoken word/hip hop artist, to joining a minimum six piece jazz-funk band called 5 Coffees as MC, singer and guitarist, departing the band to start her own PR, Events and content platform company called Behind The Front in 2013. At the time, DIOLA's primary focus was to curate specialised soul music events with local and international artists and to increase awareness for local soul musicians.
Known amongst her peers as DIOLA and the woman who can tackle pretty much anything in her local music community, one thing has remained, her reputation as ‘one-of-the-go-to’ for quality music, uncovering local artists, curating events, and DJing at events has put her forward as an artist in demand for her music service and expertise.
DIOLA began taking DJing as a serious profession in the last four years, with her DJ skills traversing hip hop, soul, funk, groove music and quality future soul beats and soon became the official tour DJ for HAU (Koolism/Triple J Hip Hop show) embarking on a national and New Zealand tour inclusive of Splendor In The Grass, has nationally toured with Omar Musa, Sarsha Simone, L-Fresh The Lion, and MIRRAH (L-Fresh The Lion).
DIOLA has featured on bills across Sydney including support DJ act for Maxwell (US), Tall Black Guy, Stro Elliot, REMI, Aaradhna, Funkdafied events, Lioness Presents, Grindin’, Soul Benefits, Noah Slee (GER), One Billion Rising, Milan Ring and a string of local and Auckland-based events. 2015 saw her take on shared hosting responsibilities with Mike Who every Wednesday on Sunsets for a solid eight months run, and continues to casually host FBi Radio shows where needed.
Currently, DIOLA runs a music label called Low Key Source with Sam Dutch (Grindin') pushing beats makers across the globe influenced by a heavy soul sound. She is about to launch her new content platform for Behind The Front that dissects issues on humanity interwoven through multiple artistic practices.
