Now, for the first time in over 40 years, Tangerine Dream returns to Sydney for an Australian exclusive performance at Vivid Sydney 2025.

Formed in 1967 by the late visionary Edgar Froese, Tangerine Dream has influenced generations of artists—from Radiohead to M83—and remain pioneers of the Berlin School of electronic music. The current lineup, handpicked by Froese before his passing, continues to carry the band’s legacy forward—blending analog synths, hypnotic rhythms and cinematic soundscapes in a way only they can. 

Expect a journey through their sprawling discography, from early experimental works to the driving arpeggios of their iconic film scores, all brought to life in the unparalleled acoustics of City Recital Hall.
