Event Details
PAIA is Ngaiire’s most visceral and transcendent work yet—an eruption of rage, sex, ecstasy, ceremony, ancestry, and cleansing. Rooted in the Tok Pisin word for “fire,” PAIA is both a reckoning and a prophecy, fusing music, dance, and visuals into a blazing, multi-sensory experience.
Collaborating with multi-award-winning director Dino Dimitriadis, Ngaiire draws from her Papua New Guinean heritage to transform her stage at Vivid Sydney into a ritual of movement, sound, and storytelling. PAIA is an invitation to surrender to the flames—an experience that will haunt, heal, and ignite.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday 14 March. Sign up to Carriageworks for pre-sale access.
