Paint our town red… green, pink, blue or whatever colour or pattern you dare to dream up! The ASN Clock Tower is transformed into a canvas for us all with this interactive and community-made projection.

Download the colouring page template, unleash your artistic vision and then see your work projected during Vivid Sydney 2025.

Each week, 150 unique artworks will be selected and showcased—featuring your contributions along with submissions from our 2025 Charity Partner, the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation.

More than just a tapestry of our city’s creativity, this is a symbol of the beauty of community and a celebration of freedom of expression.

Dream-big, Sydney.

How to take part

  1. Download the colouring in template here > (opens in a new tab)
  2. Colour in! Get creative – use bright colours! Pretty much any artistic medium works – crayons, paint, pens even collage
  3. Try not to leave any white space and colour in all the ASN Building in your template
  4. Keep your drawing flat (try to avoid creases)
  5. When you’re ready to upload – scan or take a picture on your phone.
Top tip – try to photograph from directly above rather than at an angle. Use a flash if you’re using a phone as it will give you a better result.
  6. Save – JPEGs and PNGs are best
  7. Upload!

Please note, that due to high demand, we won’t be able to feature everybody’s contribution. Keep an eye out during the festival for weekly listings on our website. If you are selected, please remember that the final projection is a creative interpretation of your work—the artist may adjust slightly in order to make it fit with the overall projection.
