Join us for a party-cum-exhibition that facilitates meaningful cross-inquiry between music and poetry in Sound and Sense. Expect something that’s a bit prosey and definitely a spectacle.
As one half of Sexually Transmitted Politics, Sean works in interdisciplinary nonsense and absurdity. He has written and directed three plays that span improvisatory performance, hyper-meta spectacle, and conventional drama. Julia Christensen is a Pisces-cusp-Aries NIDA acting graduate with no back up plan. She is the other half of Sexually Transmitted Politics.
There will be dancing, drivel and deep-thought as different artists investigate the spaces between sound, sense, visuals, music, and ‘the word’. Get poetic. Get weird.
The Flying Nun is a showcase of the outcomes from performing arts residencies with Brand X at the East Sydney Community and Arts Centre.
