Sydney Pony Club Takeover Harpoon Harry

The final takeover at Harpoon Harry's is a special one! Sydney Pony Club will be riding through the doors with their record bags filled to the brim with out of the box disco and funky house. These party purveyors have been around for a while now and have built a reputation that has led them into supporting slots for the likes of house music legends Chez Damier and Mood II Swing, Tim Sweeney and No Zu to name a few. 

Sydney Pony Club was formed by Maximus Nice Guy in 2013 with the idea of entertaining small crowds of oddball music enthusiasts. Fellow Sydney DJs Taridas and Tom Streat joined soon after and their following grew with the birth of a monthly Friday party at Club 77. They hit their stride on the hallowed grounds of GoodGod Small Club but with the closing of its doors, our pony pals were left out on the street. This gave them an opportunity to regroup, refocus and hone in on what they really wanted to do. Their musical tastes evolved and they matured as a collective eventually leading them to their new home, Freda's.
