Phanosland

Phanosland is enigmatic Sydney-based musician Phanos Proestos alongside a perpetually changing line-up of talented instrumentalists. Their music is dark art-pop with a heavy focus on aesthetic and visual style, brought to life in live performances. Released in late 2017, his album For the Lovers received adoring acclaim, with its opening track 'Aphrodite's New Order' offering a particularly enthralling combination of Cypriot Greek and lunging synth.

Proestos produces music that manages to be conceptually and aurally beguiling as well as deeply ominous. His band fuses rich vocals with layers of juxtaposed timbres that will make for an intoxicating atmosphere on the Golden Stage.
