After taking the world by storm with viral hits like 'Talk 2 Me' and 'Fall In Love With You', American singer-songwriter Montell Fish brings his unique blend of new age gospel and soul with electronic-infused soundscapes to Carriageworks on Friday May 31, 2024 as part of the Vivid Music program.

Fresh off a North American tour with multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning R&B artist Daniel Caesar, including a performance at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City, Fish returns to Australia with his Intercession Before Charlotte tour.

The 26-year-old Pittsburgh-native is a musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer redefining Christian music. A self-described ‘communicator of emotion’ known for his deeply personal lyrics and haunting melodies, Fish (born Montell Frazier) has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique blend of gospel and R&B.

Fish's debut album, JAMIE, showcased his signature low-key and demo-tape sound, quickly gaining popularity, and in the same year, he released the EP Her Love Still Haunts Me Like a Ghost, featuring songs with more hard-hitting R&B influences. Exploring new sounds in 2023, Fish has released several singles under his DJ Gummy Bear moniker, including his latest track – 'I Know I Failed You'.
