A time when the infamous Hacienda dominated the Manchester clubbing scene, Space Ibiza was in it's glory years, and Armand Van Helden had just dropped his monstrous track 'You Don't Know Me'. Strictly Rhythm were in their heyday with releases from the likes of Erick Morillo, Louie Vega, and Joey Negro, while Kerri Chandler was pioneering the deep house movement. Meanwhile, across the Atlantic Ocean, Wookie had established himself as a staple of the UK garage scene, with heavy-hitting names such as Artful Dodger and Craig David emerging in the later years.
