In Frequency:
Patchwork Dreaming is a multimedia performance for an Ensemble of Musicians, Dancers, Electronics and a Bush-Poet (E. Mongrel), which explores the complexities of a local cultural heritage and Blackness in contemporary Australia. Narratives of identity and rediscovery are the stuff of this ‘patchwork’ of Australia’s multicultural experience.
The Sound of Spaces offers an immersive performance for a blindfolded audience. Featuring flute, melodica, voice, percussion and electro-acoustic soundscapes, the performance seeks to illuminate our understanding and experience of familiar and re-imagined sound worlds.
Intangible Instruments features interactive works by performers, designers and researchers developing new instruments and exploring intersections between voice and movement. Expect the unexpected with innovations in performer-led embodied interface design, augmented vocal applications, wearables and wireless interaction. Featuring Donna Hewitt, Julian Knowles, Mary Mainsbridge and Deprogram.
