VOUW Studio

Mingus Vogel and Justus Bruns founded VOUW, their Amsterdam-based design studio, in 2018. VOUW is a pioneer in ‘slow-tech’ design, which is the idea that technology is not solely a means of efficiency and productivity. Their designs are guided by the principle that technology can help us slow down and reconnect with ourselves and our surroundings. They have won multiple awards for their work.

Event Details

Poetry plays with language. Illuminates. It speaks to being human in a way nothing else can, but do you need to be human to write it?

Prepare to engage with the form in a new way, as you stand in front of Poem Booth. Several poetry machines, powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), translate what they see in front of them into unique pieces of poetry.

The resulting work will surprise you with its depth, creativity, and connection to what it sees.

How did a computer write that? What is creativity? What does it mean to be human? Like poetry itself, the answers are found between the lines.
