In Japan, origami cranes are given to ill family members and friends to wish them well, referencing an old saying that the birds live for up to 1,000 years.
A symbol of health and vitality for those who need it, the cranes of Ghosts fly high and dart in and out of the breezeway between piers at Walsh Bay.
Using traditional paper folding techniques, these cranes are lanterns made from folded natural recycled polypropylene.
