Games bring us together. They’re fun, they put us to the test and reveal our skills. Over its thousand-year history, Chess has become a universal symbol of play and power. This poetic and strategic game uses beautifully crafted ‘mini sculptures’, each with their own set of rules and movements, in a bid to capture an opponent’s King.

The beauty of the ‘king of games’ is that it can be played by two people of different ages with no common language. By supersizing the sculptural pieces, this installation connects and challenges visitors, bringing a whole new level of wonder and joy to gameplay. Who’ll take the crown?
