Light installations and projections to Illuminate Your Night
Fireplaces
Who doesn't love a good fire? Hypnotic, mesmerising, and a place to gather and tell a good story. This year, at Tumbalong Park and the Vivid Fire Kitchen, we're celebrating with fire sculptures, flame throwers and other fiery installations. Come soak in the warmth and spectacle of the flames with us.
Neolithic
A blaze of lights above. A reverberating beat. A structure both ancient and modern. Welcome to Neolithic. It’s time to dance to the music from nearby Tumbalong Stage, wander through time and space and gaze at the hyper-brilliant LED canopy above. Neolithic is an opportunity to ponder our past, future and the human need for creativity that unites the two.
Omnivisu
Imagine seeing your own eyes projected onto a building behind Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour. That’s Omnivisu for you. It's fantastically fun and our way of making you feel a part of the Vivid Sydney all festival long. Step up and see yourself as part of the cityscape.

Estée Lauder, Beauty Sleep
Just beyond Tumbalong Park, pause at the Estée Lauder Beauty Sleep installation to experience the intersection of art and the science of skincare. This piece uses light to depict the beauty of nighttime skin renewal. A sleeping facial sculpture, Beauty Sleep lights up to reveal a dynamic map of skin science, enhanced by the rhythmic glow of amber light, reminiscent of Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair serum.
