Yvette Mattern

Los Angeles and Berlin-based, Yvette Mattern is visual artist whose work has an emphasis on video, film and public light installations. Her work has been exhibited internationally and she has collaborated with many artists on film and theatre projects including Cindy Sherman’s Office Killer, Al Pacino, Diller+Scofidio and The Builder’s Association among others.

Global Rainbow is a beacon of hope and inclusivity and a guiding light above the Vivid Sydney festivities.

A spectrum of light reaches out from the Sydney Tower Eye, extending the footprint of the Vivid Sydney Light Walk into the night sky for all to see.

Beams of rainbow lasers fan out from the iconic Sydney Tower Eye for up to 40km, uniting us all with Vivid Sydney.

Having previously lit up the city skies of London, Berlin, Toronto, and Northern Ireland, this is unifying moment on an international scale. Bask in the Global Rainbow.
