Claude Bosi

Claude Bosi is one of the UK’s most celebrated chefs, known for his bold, modern approach to classical French cuisine. Born in Lyon to Italian parents, he began his culinary journey in Michelin-starred kitchens across France, including under Alain Passard at L’Arpège. In 2000, he opened Hibiscus in Ludlow, earning two Michelin stars before relocating the restaurant to London. In 2017, he launched Claude Bosi at Bibendum, which was awarded two Michelin stars within its first year. Bosi is renowned for his technical skill, creative flair, and deep respect for seasonal ingredients, cementing his legacy in modern European gastronomy.

One of Australia’s most respected and influential chefs, Brent has a reputation for exciting, cutting-edge food, clever technique and a unique mastery of flavour and texture. He has twice been awarded the Good Food Guide Chef of the Year (2005 and 2015) and is the author of the cookbook Bentley: Contemporary Cuisine.

Raised in a traditional bouchon in Lyon, Claude was born into hospitality. After training in some of France’s most celebrated Michelin-starred kitchens—including time under the legendary Alain Passard at L’Arpège—he went on to achieve two Michelin stars at his own restaurant, Hibiscus, first in Ludlow and later in London, where he became one of the few chefs to retain two stars after relocating a restaurant. 

Now, for the first time in Sydney, Claude brings his signature blend of bold French technique and elegant refinement to Vivid Sydney. Teaming up with Brent Savage, known for his innovative Australian cuisine and passion for produce, this two-night-only experience promises a multi-course menu that redefines modern fine dining and showcases the best NSW produce.
