PROGRAM INFORMATION:
Sat 23 May - SPICE w/ KYLE HALL (Wild Oats - USA) + SANDEMAN (WILDKATZ – UK)
KYLE HALL
SPICE delivers a staple in Detroit’s new generation of artists . . .
From his releases on his own label, Wild Oats, to his collaborative project with Funkineven as Funkinevil, Kyle Hall is undoubtedly a future legend of house and techno. Rising to the level of the greats he studied under in his hometown Detroit (his mentors include Theo Parrish, Omar-S, Carl Craig, Rick Wilhite and Mike Huckaby), and is fast becoming on par with some of the most defiant, innovative DJs and producers in electronic music. The only thing that separates him is a handful of years - a decade or two in most cases: he’s still under the age of 20.

Fri 29 May - MEANWHILE w/ WORDLIFE (Live)
WORDLIFE
Wordlife make music for life – sometimes it’s happy and positive and others it’s time to get dark and dirty in the club but whatever the mood it’s always cutting edge. The wordlife sound is constantly moving forward looking to set new trends instead of following old ones combining their love of techno, ghetto house, rap, r&b, positive rave music and futuristic Synthesised sounds as evidenced on the Sydney boys first two singles ‘Vision’ (Motorik) and Vision (Club Mod) which received significant radio play on Australian national youth radio station Triple J.
Sat 30 May - SPICE w/ STEVE BUG (Poker Flat - DE) + MURAT KILIC (AU)
STEVE BUG
Germany‘s very own taste-maker, trend-setter, mover-shaker-extraordinaire Steve Bug is a multi-faceted artist who refuses to back down from the limelight. A dedicated, energetic and constantly surprising talent, Steve is nothing less than an electronic music ambassador, a much-loved spokesman to the people, and for good reason.

Fri 5 June - MEANWHILE w/ CASSIAN (live)
CASSIAN
Cassian has become one of Australia's busiest exports, clocking up some serious miles performing all over the world in clubs from LA to Rome, Warsaw to Shanghai & Vancouver to Singapore. Or as he would put it "Yews all over the world." Cassian has been keeping busy inside the studio as well, remixing America's biggest summer dance hit and delivering 3 new releases this past year.
2012 started with the launch of Cassian's much talked about "Country Club" collaboration with fellow Aussie youngster Shazam. Their debut 4 track EP was hastily signed to Radio 1 duo Jaymo & Andy George's UK imprint, Moda, and received support from the likes of A-Trak, Yolanda Be Cool, Bag Raiders, and Treasure Fingers. With the help of dance music, they intend to spread the good word of grass sport participation and dining etiquette far and wide.
Sat 6 June - ANDRAS FOX (Live)
ANDRAS FOX
Peel back the leaves and discover Andras Fox, a Melbourne producer making tactile and imperfect electronic music. Inspired by primitive percussion, simple melodies and home recording, Andras combines elements of house music and ethno-groove in a distinctly antipodean way.
Based around drum machine rhythms and new age synths, his original tape recordings are simultaneously contemporary in sound and difficult to carbon date, slipping comfortably between 80s Library Music, Chicago House and g-Funk.
After sold-out solo releases, Andras teamed up with vocalist Oscar Key Sung for a collaborative LP that went back to the roots of disco and house. Receiving support and plays from the likes of Dam Funk, it was an earnest catalogue of cassette demos recorded in the industrial district of West Melbourne. His follow up EP Erskine Falls was popular with the ladies - compact tropical-synth instrumentals that felt just right.
Presenting the weekly radio show Strange Holiday on 3RRR FM in Melbourne has given him a chance to greatly expand his record collection, which currently occupies the broad territory between Disco, World, Library and Balearic sounds. This depth of knowledge about music's past informs his productions, which all give a nod and a wink to the past.
Performing solo and as part of the duo Fox + Sui, Andras has supported artists including James Pants, Andres, Toro Y Moi and DJ Sprinkles. In a digital, cool world full of hectic pace, Andras Fox brings warmth, relaxation and smooth grooves to your ears. It works, even though he uses cassette tapes and dodgy synthesisers, because he tries to do it the right way.
