Newtown has long been recognised as an area rich in cultural diversity. Through this an extraordinary tapestry of creativity has been cultivated, expressed over a multitude of different artistic platforms. For Vivid we have developed a programme primarily dedicated to Newtown in all it’s weird and wonderful beauty — and will use this model as a platform to create Newtown-centric events we can stage every year.
The venue will also be a space for local artists and artisans to exhibit their work, proudly presented by The Ladies Network.
