Cake Wines bring a raft of music, food and wine based events to Vivid this year with a full program of events down at the Redfern Cellar Door, as well as launching ambitious project, Pies in the sky, a rooftop music, food and wine event featuring a raft of international and local acts, some of Sydney's best chefs, all matched to their wines.

Cake Wines new permanent home will showcase a number of emerging, independent record label showcases, headline shows, talks, and, a full sensory food / wine / music / lights experience across 2 sessions.

Pies in the sky will be set on 3 different rooftops, towering over the lights on one epic Vivid night. Each rooftop with showcase 1 genre of music, 1 chef and a matching wine. From deep wonky jazz, beats, boogie, house and disco, the showcase of talent across each rooftop is world class. A gem in the 2017 Vivid calendar, Pies in the sky is a rule bending concept that sees Cake Wines involvement push to new heights.
