Smart Light Sydney
The University of Technology Sydney (UTS), in conjunction with Smart Light Sydney, will host a series of symposiums for the creative industries, exploring the future of lighting design and innovation.
Smart Light Symposia promises to draw on the inaugural festival’s themes of sustainability and innovation, tackling some major questions facing designers, engineers, students and the general public.
Leading designers and engineers from Australia and overseas, including Tom Barker, Alex Haw, Sandra Kadja-O’Grady and Warren Langley, will present at the symposiums, exploring such topics as Future Cities, Smart Architecture, Engaging the City and Lighting the City.
Open to anyone interested in the future of sustainable lighting design, Smart Light Symposia is happening on 27 May, 1-2 June and 9 June from 6-8pm, and tickets can be reserved through the UTS website or purchased at the door.
