Event Details

A sonic partnering of saxophonist Kirsty Tickle and percussionist Jonathan Boulet, Party Dozen is a project loosely based around improvisation and distortion. Both artists share pop-leaning backgrounds; John with his solo work and Kirsty with indie outfit Little Scout plus her current project Exhibitionist. And yet, as Party Dozen they move beyond strict genre confines with their rich and expansive aural experimentation.

The band released their debut full-length record The Living Man in 2018, an immensely satisfying exercise in distortion and spontaneity. Drawing comparisons to Death Grips and The Prodigy, the unruly duo take guitars, synthesisers, saxophones and drum kits to their most extreme limits. The result is an unapologetically unique intensely engaging sound experience.
